Bank of Luxemburg Committed to Revitalizing Kewaunee County
“Local. Loyal. Lasting” isn’t just a slogan for the Bank of Luxemburg. The bank is passionate about being part of the community, as well as supporting the community through services and programs that foster economic vibrancy.
Earlier this year, the bank launched the “Revitalization Program” to assist business owners interested in enhancing the physical appearance and economic vitality of their businesses and commercial buildings within all of Kewaunee County. Long-term objectives of the program include physical improvements of buildings, landscaping and parking lots, plus increased pedestrian functionality.
Local communities are currently involved in activities to enhance local economic development. Algoma is promoting its Main Street Program, Kewaunee is encouraging additional development with its harbor renovation and Luxemburg is completing improvements to Main Street. Outside of these communities there are numerous small businesses that could benefit from this program, from the Town of Carlton to the Town of Red River.
Loan amounts can vary from $5,000-$50,000 with a low fixed interest rate and special repayment terms based on the individual project needs. Eligible loan uses include facade improvements, pedestrian cover, historical preservation, structure renovations and accessibility improvements.
